Promoting the Education of Hispanic Youth…Together

What would it mean to your company’s future if you could start helping influence and guide the education of tomorrow’s Hispanic workforce today?

The Hispanic youth of NC, tomorrow’s workforce, has the potential to move the entire community forward and to further their contributions to the state economy through the pursuit of technical and higher education.  The North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals (NCSHP) strives to provide these youth with the opportunities and programs they need to succeed in education.

How can you help?

By joining the NCSHP Business Partners Circle you will have the opportunity today to start making a difference in the lives of Hispanic youth in North Carolina.  This circle is a select group of companies and businesses that support our mission and recognize the work ethic of the Hispanic population here in NC.

What will your contribution do?

Your annual contribution will help the NCSHP fund one or more of the following programs and activities:

  • Hispanic Educational Summit Initiative (a conference for middle and HS Hispanic students)
  • Statewide “Stay in School” Campaign (an educational awareness campaign)
  • Pilot Mentoring-Tutoring Program (provides one-on-one support to Hispanic students)
  • NC Hispanic College Fund (a scholarship program for Hispanic youth)
  • Hispanic Achievement Conference (a conference for teachers and administrators)

The main goals of these programs are to:

  1. Increase the students’ level of awareness of their own self-worth and self-esteem
  2. Decrease the dropout rate among Hispanic high school students
  3. Generate and sustain enthusiasm among Hispanic students and their parents for the hard work that is necessary to succeed both academically and in life
  4. Promote community college and university education as a realistic, worthwhile and achievable goal

What will your company receive in return?

As a member of the NCSHP Business Partners Circle (BPC) we believe your company will get high visibility and recognition by the Hispanic community, which may reflect in marketing and recruitment opportunities for your business.  In addition, your company will receive some or all of the following benefits based on your sponsorship among:

  • The opportunity to host an NCSHP meeting at your company’s location, which can include a tour of your facilities and services
