Campamento Alegría - El Centro Hispano’s annual summer camp will take place June 16-20 for 5-7 year olds and June 23-27 for 8-10 year olds. We need 3 Volunteer Summer Camp Counselors each week. Volunteers should be willing to volunteer 8am-4pm each day, be comfortable working with children, and speak at least some Spanish. Circulo de Estudios - El Centro Hispano is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers for our adult education program, called Circulo de Estudios. The program is for Latinos who were not able to complete their basic education in their home countries. At El Centro Hispano, they can learn to read and write in Spanish, and earn a certificate of completion for primary or secondary school from the Mexican government. Volunteers are needed to assist the teacher and offer more individualized instruction to the students. Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm. It is an incredibly inspiring program, to see the enthusiasm the students have for learning in spite of all the barriers in their lives!

Wake Technical Community College - Evening Instructor
