About the Role
Compensation: $20 per hour. Travel & Expenses, reimbursed. Paid Time Off
Hours: 40 hours/week, Schedule Mon - Fri. Some evenings and weekends may be required. NOT a remote job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Membership/Fundraising:
Execute membership and fundraising program responsibilities and implementation of Fundraising Strategies and Membership Campaign under the supervision of the Director.
Manage Collect and analyze data, update databases, and develop reports.
Community Outreach in STEM Education:
Track contracts and grant proposals to ensure all timelines are in order, deadlines are met, and progress is recorded/documented, under the supervision of the Director.
Develop and implement proactive outreach strategies for the effective promotion of STEM education, programs, and opportunities for the Hispanic community.
Organizational Work:
Work with the Director to maintain all programs aligned with the overall grant goals and requirements.
Active leadership role in the administration of NCSHP’s office by supporting the coordination and implementation of conferences, training sessions, and meetings
Requirements
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field of work
Bilingual in Spanish and English with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages
Ability to multitask and work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs and Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Gmail, and Slides
Strong skills and experience with presentations and public speaking
2+ years of relevant professional experience in administration
Preferred:
Previous experience in nonprofit management and/or staff management
2+ years of relevant professional experience in development and fundraising
Knowledge and experience using: Wix, Canva, Social Media, IContact Marketing tool, and/or Exceed Donor Tracking Software
